Welcome to the Drifter Times — a paper for people without an address
Most newspapers assume you have a front porch to land on. This one doesn't. The Drifter Times is written for people who are between addresses, between towns, or between chapters — and it starts from a simple belief: everyone deserves to know where the next meal, the next bed, and the next helping hand are.
This paper began as an idea for a monthly flyer handed out on street corners. It grew into this: a living resource you can read on any phone, in any city, at any hour. No paywall. No account. No judgment.
What you'll find here
- City and state resource guides — where to eat, sleep, wash up, and get help, wherever you are.
- Practical know-how — replacing lost ID, keeping a phone charged with no outlet, staying warm, staying safe.
- The Drifter Dispatch — a short weekly email with new resources and things worth knowing.
We're building this paper city by city. If you know a resource we missed — a shelter with open beds, a church that serves lunch, a library that doesn't hassle anyone — tell us. This paper belongs to its readers.
